Have you ever thought of becoming a God?
No! Yes! Mixed responses? Truly you all must have different opinions from every other person in this world. But I am sure that you must have thought of God, if not being it. What is God and why is he worshipped by people? Why he has thousands of devotees and followers? Why people die to drink the water that washes His feet? These types of questions must have occurred to you when you were a kid, as they occurred in my mind during my childhood!
Well, the point is we always think of God, but we never ever try to think of the people who do good deeds on Earth. God is being worshipped by the virtue of the good things he does or by the nature that he created! But those who care for this nature and those who help this nature to survive from generation to generation deserve more than that.
I am talking about Salman Ahmed, who works for the evil-eradication department of God on Earth! The Muslim of Pakistani origin, who is the co-creator of the theme for Aliens in America, works for noble cause always! The singer is a multi ethnic personality who is a doctor and a former actor who also works for United Nations thereby eradicating the social evils from the society. The singer has won many appreciations and blessings by singing a millions of songs in thousands of concerts for educating the society sometimes about HIV or uplifting the poor at the other times!
The theme of the famous Aliens in America would not have been completed by this man, as the show revolves around the theme of anti-racism! I just wanna thank the creators of the show who employed the talented man to work for such a show which aims at spreading a noble message of anti-racism! The theme “Peace, Love and Understanding” was co-created by PJ Olsson along with Salman Ahmed.
Dudes, both of you truly Rock!

Aliens In America has been killed… for good. The show is not going to return despite the fact that it was cancelled at a time when lesser shows were allowed to continued. I don’t believe the rubbish they tried to pass us about the fall in ratings and less viewer ship and all such crap. Aliens in America TV Show was hilarious and more meaningful than most other comedies running on TV. It addressed the issue of racism in a very light manner and presented a solution to the menace that is spreading its tentacles into American society.
We Americans have always been known as the most tolerant people, even though we have our idiosyncrasies. Tell me, is there another country in the world where people like to settle down as much as they do in America? Point made…now let me move to how we Americans tend to look at the others. No other TV serial made this point as clear as Aliens in America did.
Here we had a very well meaning mom Franny portrayed by Amy Pietz, who is trying to help her shy high schooler. When the school counselor convinces Franny to take in an international student, she was not expecting a Pakistani student even in her dreams. So when a 16 year old Muslim boy Raja Musharraf portrayed by Adhir Kalyan walked into their lives, it was nothing short of a jolt for her. She felt both angry and betrayed.
It was the prejudice, which led to her anger and which was reflected in the reaction of society that surrounded them, that was examined through Raja’s stay with Tolchuk family in Aliens in America TV Show.
Whether you agree or not we Americans are prejudiced against the word M. Aliens in America not only accepted the truth that all of us have been trying to shove under the carpet but also examined the reasons and reactions before presenting a solution, all in a light manner. We laughed our way to the understanding that people are people no matter what religion or country they belong to.
But I guess, network bosses prefer children mouthing obscenities like they do in South Park to meaningful TV Shows so they cancelled Aliens in America.
And, it forces me to wonder!
If one turns to internet to know what the stars of Aliens in America are doing right now, it comes up with ‘Nothing’. Yeah, I too have faced so. When Aliens in America was on air, I enjoyed all the episodes of the series. Fans hoped for the second season of Aliens of America but the creators decided not to bring the show back with another season. That generally happens… network and creators made their decision on their own and they rarely care for the wishes of the fans. Well, it’s also true that whenever they bring it back as per fans’ wishes, it usually gets bombed. An example can be given in such scenario… yeah you are right…Jericho. Fans’ protest brought Jericho back but it failed to run for long. So, the creators/ network are also not at fault.
Well, the thing which needs to be pondered over is where all the stars of Aliens of America are. Among the leading actors of the series were Dan Byrd, Adhir Kalyan, Amy Pietz, Scott Patterson, Lindsey Shaw and Christopher B. Duncan. No body knows which projects they all are involved with nowadays. Some months ago, the news came out that Adhir Kalyan, the actor who portrayed the character of Raja Musharaff, wanted to be a part of Gossip Girl. He has not appeared on the series yet and also there is no news about his appearance on Gossip Girl or any other TV shows.
Day Byrd, the cool guy, who portrayed the character of Justin Tolchuck on Aliens in America, is also ‘nowhere’. He’s not appearing on any popular TV series and the same is very true with the rest of the star cast of Aliens in America.
Why so? Though Aliens in America didn’t do well in terms of ratings but the stars of the show were appraised for their brilliant appearances on the show. Then why didn’t any other creator approach them and asked them to be part of his/her next production. I really hope that the failure of Aliens in America doesn’t affect the career of ones who were a part of it.
It was his role as Raja Musharaff, a foreign exchange student on ‘Aliens in America’, which helped Adhir Kalyan to become a household name. Raja was basically a Pakistani boy who moved in with the Tolchucks for a year and developed a strong bond with Justin, the son of the family. Though the series didn’t air longer than a single season, but Adhir managed to secure a strong fan following with his dazzling performance on ‘Aliens in America’ tv show. His other notable performances are on ‘Nip/Tuck’ and ‘Rules of Engagement‘.
And, Adhir has wishes to appear on Gossip Girl. A role on Gossip Girl would be like a dream coming true. He says, “I think that’s the long-term goal for me in my career: at some point to get onto Gossip Girl and share screen time with either Blake Lively or Leighton Meester, whomever they see fit.” I am sure; his expression would surely make the Gossip Girl creators to introduce a role for him. The ladies whom he has wishes to appear with are Blake Lively and Leighton Meester. Blake is portraying the character of Serena Van Der Woodsen on ‘Gossip Girl’, one of the leading characters of the show. Leighton Meester portrays Blair Waldorf, the central character of the show. No matter with whom he appears on the TV screen, success is sure for him, as both are very popular and are the heartthrobs of the young Americans.

Well, the above news is rocking one for the fans of both the shows. No words yet from The CW representatives, hopefully we would soon get some indication
Despite its very unique plot, Aliens in America failed to get a second season and it went off air, after airing eighteen episodes only. All episodes of Aliens in America are available here to download. Moreover, you can also watch it online here. Join the website and have an access to your favorite TV shows.
So, what do you think, is there any possibility of a role for Adhir in Gossip Girl or his statement would be just ignored out? Share your views with the rest of the fans through the comment section!
‘Wake at the Lake’ was the second last episode of the first season of ‘Aliens in America’. Following it was the series finale ‘Raja at Sixteen’ and this episode brought ‘Aliens in America’.
In this episode, we saw Justin talking about unpopular extra curricular activities. Raja organized an event to help support Students Against Drunk Driving. It was the time when they guys were having a fake funeral for someone. It was Raja’s plan to have a function and his intention was to promote the end of drunk drinking. Everyone’s intention was to make it for Dan Archer whereas Raja wanted it to be for Justin. In this very tough competition, they got heated and very soon Justin realized what the whole event was all about. All episodes of series are available here to download. You can also watch online episodes here.
‘Aliens in America’ had a very nice, sweet and also unique plot in actual terms. Series went away just after 18 episodes and it didn’t return with a second season. Mutual understanding between Raja and Justin was very great and it’s the only show where a Pakistani guy was invited into an American family as a part or Foreign Exchange program.
At first, it was not so easy for Raja to accept the new lifestyle and people of a different community but it was the care and concern, shown by Justin and his family members, which made him to stay there and enjoy his days with them. In fact, when Justin’s mama came to know that the boy, who would be joining them, was a Pakistani, she felt a little afraid. Her fear shattered away when Raja joined them and we saw everyone learning a lesson from ‘Aliens in America‘.
Well, I still miss Raja and Justin. They taught me the true meaning of friendship and I really wanted some seasons of the series….. But it didn’t return and would never…..

Yesterday night while I was flipping through channels, I happened to watch one of the episodes of Aliens In America. Though, I had never seen the series before, I thought of giving it a look and trust me it was not a bad idea. After watching this episode, which I liked quite to an extent, I decided to download rest of the episodes of the series, from this site and I hope to watch them, one by one. The series with this Indian guy, named Raja in the series, is quite funny, where this group of young boys in order to enjoy their teenage find themselves in trouble and they all end up helping each other. Actually, Raja in the series is shown quite a jerk and innocent in front of these American boys and it is he who is one of the major causes of the problem to his friends. At least, it was like this in the episode, I saw last night.
The name of the episode was ‘Rocket Club’. In this, episode the boys had created a fictional rocket club, in order to spend some time with each other and stay away from home. One night after returning from this so called Rocket Club, Raja told Justin’s parents how great their meeting was, which, of course was a lie. After they heard the great invented story they insisted on having a look at their rocket. In the meantime, Justin was caught by the Police, while watching porn at Raja’s computer. In the end, the boys were shown with the rocket that they had prepared as a result of their lie about Rocket Club. The boys were shown lighting the rocket, which went high up in the air and ultimately hit a girl in the ground. All of them run for their lives, except for Raja who didn’t know how to react and was shown standing there, with a blank expression on face.
With that end, I was very happy that I happened to get a glimpse of the series and will definitely watch all the episodes of the series. But the sad news for me is that the series has already been called cancelled, after its first season.
A number of series have got cancelled, these days, for no specific reasons. Another one in the list is ‘Aliens in America’. Well, I think that ‘Aliens in America’ was one of the sharpest and smartest sitcom on television. But, it never got the audience that it deserved. And, that is the reason behind the cancellation of the series. Now, that the series has got cancelled, the stars of the show are definitely looking for new projects.
Adhir Kalyan, who played the role of Raja in ‘Aliens in America’, has also taken up another role. In the underappreciated comedy, Adhir, played the role of an exchange student from Pakistan. Adhir has now signed up for a recurring role on Nip/Tuck. Kalyan will play the role of an awkward teenage medical prodigy who helps out at the plastic-surgery clinic.
Now, that the series are getting cancelled after single season each, obviously the stars of the series will have to hunt for new work. Well, Adhir, we liked your role in ‘Aliens in America’ and we would love to watch you in ‘Nip/Tuck’, a role that is quite different from the previous one. In fact, we would love to watch you in anything that you do. We just hope that you keep entertaining us with good acting. Here’s wishing you Good Luck for your new job. And, we are waiting to watch you in your new role.

What to do, when your favorite series has been cancelled? Simply, just sit and watch the previous episodes. Don’t know about you, but I’m doing the very same these days! Today I watched season 1 finale ‘Raja at Sixteen’, definitely it was a fantastic episode. It was aired on May 18, 2008 and from that day till today; I’ve watched it for several times. Here’s my review of this episode-
Sadika Sadaqatmal, a Muslim girl was seen on this episode and Justin discovers that Raja is obsessed with her. Franny comes to know about Raja’s interest in a Muslim gal and gets excited. In her excitement, she plans a very big date for Raja and Sadika which also includes every member of Tolchuck and Sadaqatmal families. Justin receives teasing comments from his parents, Gary and Franny, who say that Raja has begun dating when Justin doesn’t even have a girlfriend yet! This makes Justin to ask a neurotic girl, Donna out. On the other hand, Claire dates a German Exchange student who’s in Sadaqatmals’ apartment.
It is an end of season as well as of series. However, no cliffhangers are left unsolved but it doesn’t mean Cancellation. I’m not sure why they have put it to an end when we all are looking forward for more episodes!
As per news, CW’s new airing schedule is responsible for this cancellation. Actually, the network is in mood to introduce some more shows and that’s why ‘Aliens in America’ is scheduled to go out! Well, fans are protesting against this announcement, let’s see whether it helps to change their decision or not?
I know you’d like to say thanks to me if you’re mad for Dan Byrd…. Aha! Gals are blushing!!!!! Just kidding……
Me, being a huge fan of Justin and also being a teenage gal, was surprised by a post exploring Dan Byrd’s past and what he did to gain the name and fame he has. Let me share it with you:
Can you believe??? Dan has been acting since he was at 9. It was not so easy to get on the top of the TV world. He suffered a lot…. Even his education was erratic too. He rarely attended his traditional school.
What I liked most about the post was his statement when he says ‘I was having a real life experience to act in Aliens in America. Why he said like that??? Actually, when he attends school in Glendale, California, he founds himself a minority there. Now compare his real-life to reel-life…… it was so tough for him to make friends on the show and it was also tough for him to make friends in his school. According to him, lots of Persian and American kids were there…. But he was a minority so it was difficult to get adjusted in such kinda environment. What a co-incident it is???????? After some years, he plays the very same role on a TV show…
Dan Byrd was born on November 20, 1985 and has a younger brother and sister. His character on “Aliens in America’ was very much liked by the viewers’. It is a mile-stone of his acting career so he’s known as Justin. He also appears on various TV shows and has also made guest appearances on movies as well.
Well, whenever any one asks me about my fave character on the show, it seems tough to respond. Whether it’s Raja or Justin… both are perfect.
Reason being that is- Both Raja and Justin are superb and each one makes another complete. When show begins, I was deeply involved with Justin…. Must say his situation of being an unpopular teenager was pitiful. He was with no friends on TV but his innocence brings him lots of fans who’re ready to befriend with him and I was also one of those crazy fans. If I’d have been given a single chance…. I’d have done it.
When Raja appears on show… it seemed that someone is there to make Justin’s life interesting and enjoyable and he done that. Despite of social, racial, regional, religion based, cultural differences, they become good friends to each other.
I still remember the episode entitled ‘The metamorphosis’, it was my fave episode and I’ve seen it for several times. When Raja encourages Anita to dress modestly and act intelligently, Justin decides to have a shot with her. Justin tells her mom that it’s the right time for him to get his own clothes. Lots of scenes were there showing Raja and Justin caring and helping out each other.
Finally, I am again unable to say which is my fave character on the show… if Raja is 100% then Justin is also 101%… don’t know who was better…..but I’d like to say they both were so good and Raja-Justin relationship was never shown in past and I think any such kinds relationship will never ever shown in future….. I am still crazy to have another season of this great show… even when chances are very less.
